Google Places has become a very powerful force for local businesses. Especially for competitive niche markets where there are more than 3 competitors in the market. After working with a couple of local buisnesses in Houston that compete in the same market I have a very good idea for what impacts your business showing up in the top 3 spots.
If you are a couple or single lady looking for the wildest NYE Party in Houston, then Head to the Ritz on South I-45. The reason this event is perfect for couples is they DO NOT allow single males to enter. This creates a fun safe environment so you and your significant other can party the night away without dealing with the typical Nightclub experience. Tickets are $150 / couple at the door, with doors opening at 8PM. This gives you access to their Dinner Buffet before 9PM. Champagne Toast at Midnight, with Balloon and Confetti drop from the second floor atrium. After Midnight they open a full Breakfast buffet including all your favorites. You still have to buy your drinks, but bottle services is available. Last time I checked out of the 30+ Bottle Service Tables, only 2 were remaining. This is an event where the girls can get away with wearing much less than they normally would for a night out. Full Access to the Poles and stages for dancing. There will be no strippers at the club this night. Its a full club takeover by the DesirousParty Group.
One of my favorite foods is burgers. Over the weekend I discovered JAX in Pearland, Texas. Hands down the best burger you can buy in all of Pearland, and definitely a top 5 for all of Houston. They combine great taste, and low prices in to a mouth watering juicy 8 ounce Black Angus Beef Patty.
Its that time of year again. The kids will go door to door soliciting for Candy, but Mom and Dad need to have fun too. So after the kids get back from Trick or Treating, let the sitter take over and prepare for a night of adult fun. The best Halloween Party for Mom to let her hair down is at the Ritz with DesirousParty.
There are plenty of Haunted Houses in Houston. Some are better than others, and some will leave you walking out the exit with disappointment. Before you take your friends and family to one of the area's haunted houses, read this.
In Texas we have a small seasonal window to buy fireworks. June 24th - July 4th, and a few days around new years. Fireworks is a fun activity to do with your entire family. I personally have great memories as a kid doing block parties for the 4th of July. Being that most families will spend hundreds of dollars on fireworks, finding the Fireworks Store with the lowest prices is important. Some stands will double their prices, and then use huge discount promos to make your feel like your are saving money. But if you want non of the BS, and just want Walmart style pricing ( everyday low prices ), then there is only 1 vendor in Houston to shop at.
During Memorial Day weekend I took my family out for ice cream. We tried a new Frozen Yogurt place by the HEB on 518 and Pearland Parkway. Place is called YoGo. Good Flavors, decent prices, friendly staff. Here is my complete review on the place.
If you are looking for a truely terrifying Haunted House in Houston, look no further than Terror Dome. This one might not be appropriate for young children, unless you want to mentally scare them for life.
They are located on East I-10 just outside of the Beltway. They are right next door to the Spookers Halloween Store, which is where you buy tickets before you get in line.
Tickets Cost $20 a piece, but coupons are availble on their website to save a few bucks.
The best night to go is Saturday or Halloween night, when they have the Live DJ and Zombie Dancers, makes for a very entertaining evenining, especially if you are with friends.
There are many ways to meassure what is the best when it comes to haunted houses. Some haunts have elaborate sets, but you don't actually interact with the exhibit. More like walking through a museum. Other Haunts are a few twisted hallways, that spit you out at the end asking yourself, "That was it?" So before you go wait in a vegas style queue line ( they make you wait for hours for no reason at all ) at one of the more well known haunts read this.
October is here, and that means its time to starting planning what outragous costume you will assemble for this years Halloween Parties. For the adults who want the Vegas Halloween experience without hoping on a plane, I suggest you checkout the Desirous Party Event at the Ritz Houston.
