There are many ways to meassure what is the best when it comes to haunted houses. Some haunts have elaborate sets, but you don't actually interact with the exhibit. More like walking through a museum. Other Haunts are a few twisted hallways, that spit you out at the end asking yourself, "That was it?"
Before you take your kids and your money to one of the more advertised haunts remember that lines and high ticket prices do not equate to a quality experience. These more advertised haunts will purposely make people wait in line because that sells more tickets. And once you buy your ticket you can forget about getting any refunds.
If you don't want to deal with long lines, or high ticket prices, and just want a quality Haunt House experience. I highly recommend Terror Dome.
Terror Dome on Saturdays has a DJ and Zombie Dancers to entertain the line. They have more than 28 Actors working their haunt, with eleborate rooms that are designed to instill fear. Nothing touches you, but some of the zombies get pretty close. Its not a quick haunt. It takes about 10 minutes to get through the entire thing.
You will run out the other end screaming and laughing at your friends.
