JAX Burgers Review

One of my favorite foods is burgers.  Over the weekend I discovered JAX in Pearland, Texas.  Hands down the best burger you can buy in all of Pearland, and definitely a top 5 for all of Houston.  They combine great taste, and low prices in to a mouth watering juicy 8 ounce Black Angus Beef Patty.

Great Chinese in Pearland TX Review

Recently my wife and I took our 4 year old out for Chinese.  The food was excellent although a 4 year old who hasn't napped does not do well in a environment lacking a PlaySet.  We have eat here before, though I don't remember the food being this good.  It had been more than 5 years since we had eaten there before ( since before the birth of my son ).

First Choice Emergency Room which is one of those Emergency rooms you find located in Strip Malls, just opened their doors for business in Pearland, TX.  The renovation to the building looks nice, though I hate to see what they would charge me for a visit.  Interestingly in front of their clinic is a Monster Truck Ambulance.  If you ever need medical care and are stuck in a place that is inaccessible to regular vehicles,  First Choice Emergency Room has your back.

My wife and I finally found the time to go out for sushi.  We found ourselves in the Pearland Town Center, eating at Shogun Grill & Sushi Bar.  It was about 9PM on a Thursday night.  We sat down in a cozy booth.  I was surprised with the best Spicy Salmon Rolls I have ever eaten.  Read more for the full review.

Who picks up stray dogs in Pearland Texas

This is a question I recently had.  There was a black dog in our neighborhood that had been roaming around for a week.  Our neighbors dog had just died from heat stroke, so I made the mistake of trying to help this stray dog out, and put some food and water out for him.  I guess this won him over because since then, he decided to take up residence in front of my house and my neighbors.  I thought that maybe his owner would come looking for him, but I never saw anyone come looking for him.  So I can to find the right officials to come pick him up.

If you got kids, or have one on the way, you are about to go through a life changing experience.  One of the most noticeable changes is the thinning of your wallet.  To help put this to a stop instead of going to Babys R Us or other retail stores to buy your baby stuff, try the local consignment shops.  One I highly recommend is Ellies Enchanted Closet.  They are a small shop located off 518 and Dixie Farm Road in Pearland.  Their inventory changes daily.  You can get everything from Car Seats, Pack and Plays, Jumpers, swings, and clothing.  Also if you have baby stuff that your child has out grown and its in good condition, you can take it to ellies and have them sell it for you. Then when it sells you can either get a check for it, or use the proceeds as in store credit.  In my opinion Ellies Enchanted Closet is the best Pearland Childrens Consignment shop
