Even though Slavery as we think of it, was abolished by Lincoln, back in 1865. Slavery still exists today. I am not talking about blacks doing manual labor, but the daily routine so many Americans take on just to live. Recently I had an opportunity to talk with a wealthy business owner about the state of business and the economy. Overall it was a great discussion, of which I wanted to share some highlights.

If you have found this blog then you probably have already lost a few hairs trying to get your pictures to look great in a nightclub. I have finally mastered the settings that will enable you to get the shot with your Sony Alpha Camera. These settings should also work on other brands such as Nikon and Cannon.

Washington Avenue is the new hot spot for Houston's Nightlife. Over the weekend I visited Reign Lounge where my client was promoting an event. Over all the place is great. But that doesn't mean it doesn't have its list of negatives. So if you are curious about Reign Lounge you might want to read this article before going out.

Over the past decade I have seen how supplement companies have continued to sell the same line of BS to consumers just so they can sell products. Over time I have learned the truth about this industry. The sad truth is there are very few if any quality products out there. Hopefully some people will give this some thought before they go off and buy half the stuff at GNC.

If you got kids, or have one on the way, you are about to go through a life changing experience. One of the most noticeable changes is the thinning of your wallet. To help put this to a stop instead of going to Babys R Us or other retail stores to buy your baby stuff, try the local consignment shops. One I highly recommend is Ellies Enchanted Closet. They are a small shop located off 518 and Dixie Farm Road in Pearland. Their inventory changes daily. You can get everything from Car Seats, Pack and Plays, Jumpers, swings, and clothing. Also if you have baby stuff that your child has out grown and its in good condition, you can take it to ellies and have them sell it for you. Then when it sells you can either get a check for it, or use the proceeds as in store credit. In my opinion Ellies Enchanted Closet is the best

If you find yourself in a situation where thunderbird is no longer saving your sent emails in the Sent folder, then I might have a solution. In my case all emails from July 4th 2010 on were not showing. That and anytime I clicked on my Sent folder it would take a very long time to load. If any of these symptoms sound like your problem, then my solution should work. Keep in mind by the time I got to this solution I had already gone through and deleted my .msf files, ran compact folders, and even created a new profile. None of these solved the problem. In short the problem was a bad email in my sent folder. But it also turns out there is a 4GB limit on folder sizes in thunderbird

Over the years I have noticed how the world's most successful companies are selling from what they don't say, rather than what they do. This is the point in which marketing becomes an art form, rather than just going through the motions. Even though I am no marketing expert, I am deeply aware of the types of marketing that causes me to remember and crave a given product or service.
