Everyday we are exposed to the biased views and opinions of other people. This in turn causes us to reevaluate how we live our own life, and question our own thoughts and opinions. Even though its important to keep an open mind, living in fear never got anyone ahead. In this blog I discuss how the world around us has changed and the impact its having on people, who might need to just turn the TV off.

Recently I was talking to some friends and family, and I came to notice there are an increasing number of people who are getting sucked into this Modern Hippie Lifestyle, doing things in total disregard for capitalism. So in this blog I will list out all the things I see people do and point out why I disagree or agree with it.

Today, Obama did a YouTube interview in which people submitted their questions, and everyone voted on which questions should be asked. The process was a complete joke. I am now convinced that YouTube ( run by Google ) is more biased that Fox News.

Over the past few days Google has gotten the spot light because its threatening to lift the censorship filtering from its search engine on china. Many don't realize what this really means. If you are not a web developer you probably don't understand the impact this could make on business. In my opinion World War III will be a cyber war, and this small incident could be the start of tensions.

No body can argue with the fact that Obama was elected mostly because of his communication style and ability to connect with common folks. Some people will say he made it to power because of his stance on key issues, or because the mass media often portrayed him in a better light than they did McCain. Now that he is in power, there is a definite change in the way the he communicates with everyone from the troops to the middle class.

Similar to back in the 1930s when we had the new deal to help create jobs, and get the country out of the great depression. Obama has a similar plan, but his plan involves green technologies. The plan is really simple. By upgrading government buildings ( military, schools, administrative ) with more energy efficent technologies ( lighting, heating, cooling ) we can decrease the long term opporating costs of the government, and at the same time we are creating demand for these new technologies which should increase the number of green jobs. Your former GM assembly worker might now find themselves working in a factory making solar panels. Read more for details

I am a bit of a political junky. Its not so much what the politicians do ( as they all often do nothing ) but the phycology of what people think they will do and how it influences people's opinions. Here are some of my own opinions of the 2008 Election, and how things could have been very different.

I got this recently in an email. Even though its not the most politically correct solution, it is maybe one of the better ones.
