Recently I switched out every Standard Light bulb in my house with the newer compact flourescents, that use 75% less energy. But I realized something as I was switching out the bulbs. Which makes changing over to energy efficient ones even more practical.

Temptation Lounge is a brand new nightclub for Houston lifestyle couples ( AKA swingers ). I did the website for them, and last night I went in to take some shots of the club before it opened. Lots of Lounge seating, 2 large bars. Big dance floor, private rooms where I am sure some very naughty activities will happen. Grand opening is Saturday night ( 14th valentines day ). I recently asked myself this question. Should I replace all or some of the incandescent bulbs in my house with the newer Flourscent ones? Or should I spend the big bucks and replace them with LED bulbs? I did a little research to determine the cost savings of each. Some would think the savings aren't that great, but the truth is they are alot bigger than you think.

If these two cameras were guns, I just went from a musket riffle, to an 50 Cal full auto. I know its hard to believe the A700 is that much better than the A100, but it is. Read more for the details

When I first started up whitesites, I was looking for a name that would be easy to remember, and that went along with what I did. So I took my last name along with what I build to get whitesites. But its funny what some people think of when you tell them your company name is whitesites.

Now that the server world is heavily adopting SATA drives and SAS drives for those who want extra performance, there are a lot of people wondering how this technology compares to the old IDE and SCSI drives. Time for some performance benchmarks to put this question to rest.

If you have ever run into the problem of buying or selling something on ebay, only to have it not work once it reaches it destination, you know the kind stress this creates. Basically the Dell Poweredge 1750 Server I had was not booting up, and would flash an orange / amber light on the front, and had no display, and no beeps. The solution was pretty simple, Reseat everything!
