Hidden costs of Light bulbs

Feb 15, 2009 by Paul White

Recently I switched out every Standard Light bulb in my house with the newer compact flourescents, that use 75% less energy.  But I realized something as I was switching out the bulbs.  Which makes changing over to energy efficient ones even more practical.

Temptation Lounge Houston Nightclub

Feb 14, 2009 by Paul White

Temptation Lounge is a brand new nightclub for Houston lifestyle couples ( AKA swingers ).  I did the website for them, and last night I went in to take some shots of the club before it opened.  Lots of Lounge seating, 2 large bars. Big dance floor, private rooms where I am sure some very naughty activities will happen.  Grand opening is Saturday night ( 14th valentines day ). Check out the photos

Should I upgrade my light bulbs to LED

Feb 13, 2009 by Paul White

LED Light BulbI recently asked myself this question. Should I replace all or some of the incandescent bulbs in my house with the newer Flourscent ones? Or should I spend the big bucks and replace them with LED bulbs? I did a little research to determine the cost savings of each. Some would think the savings aren't that great, but the truth is they are alot bigger than you think.

Sony A100Sony A700To save anyone the time of reading my blog for the detailed reasons. Let me just say, upgrading from the Sony A100 to the Sony A700, was a good decision.  Lets put it like this.  If these two cameras were guns, I just went from a musket riffle, to an 50 Cal full auto. I know its hard to believe the A700 is that much better than the A100, but it is.  Read more for the details

Dell Poweredge 1750If you have ever run into the problem of buying or selling something on ebay, only to have it not work once it reaches it destination, you know the kind stress this creates.  Basically the Dell Poweredge 1750 Server I had was not booting up, and would flash an orange / amber light on the front, and had no display, and no beeps.  The solution was pretty simple, Reseat everything!

Best DJ in Houston

Jan 18, 2009 by Paul White

Houston DJ Eddie SpettroI used to think that Houston was filled with nothing but talentless DJs.  But Saturday night I went down to Lastrada for Desirous Party's Gangsta Girl Party.  The crowd was hot, and the music was even hotter.  DJ Eddie Spettro had a pefect mix of top 40, hip hop, and classic dance music that kept the girls dancing til closing time.  It wasn't just the song's he picked, but variation in mix, and play order, along with perfect beat matching, that kept the energy alive.
